NFFG TEAM VISITS MR.D.O FALOWO NIGERIA'S CONSULAR GENERAL IN FRANKFURT.

PRESENTATION OF NFFG PROJECT TO HIS EXCELLENCY CG MR. D. O FALOWO. 

 

Plans are on going for the 2017 edition of Nollywood film festival Germany – NFFG, a viable platform designed for Nollywood (Nigerian/African) film makers to showcase their movies to Europeans and Nollywood fans in the Diaspora . As part of activities to make the event a grand one the organizers of the  Ehizoya Golden Entertainment e.V culture, recently presented this year NFFG & NEGA awards projects to the new Consular General at the consulate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Frankfurt, Germany. This was during a courtesy call on His Excellency CG Mr. D. O. Falowo.   

Briefing His Excellency about the upcoming Nollywood – NFFG and NEGA events in general, the President of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment Mr. Isaac Izoya – Cultural Ambassador,  appealed to his excellency CG Mr. D. O.Falowo to continue supporting the Nollywood projects by fully participating in both the planning process and the execution of the events/programme.

He further urged His Excellency to please attend both the movies screening and to personally extend invitations to other Diplomatic and also solicited for financial support by the consulate , in his words “the financial burden of this project is enormous and Mr. Izoya, our Organization will appreciate it if His Excellency could use his good office to relieve us that burden by assisting us financially - directly or indirectly for the continuity of this viable project”

In response, his Excellency, consul General D. O Falowo said “I can't wait to witness the event" because I heard so much about it when I was still in United States of America before coming to Germany. I was aware when Her Excellency Senator Danzilla James from Atlanta Georgia and Dr. Queen Blessing Itua came to receive their awards respectively some years back. They came back to United States then singing praises of the event generally. 

"You could then imagine how I felt when I was posted down to Frankfurt". We are here to support viable projects of this magnitude which is very good for our country's image.

Nigerians are making waves in different fields of human endeavours but we lack powerful media platforms like CNN and BBC broadcasting outlets to blow our trumpets which is one of the advantages the West have over us. 

Thanks to Nollywood for serving as our local voice to portray the good image of our country and thanks to Ehizoya Golden Entertainment e.V for these your noble projects via Nollywood telling our original stories in this part of the world. It's our duty to support such project and we will support you morally but sadly, not with finance because we are financially handicapped. 

Kindly keep us posted regularly and we will surely be there for your organization in our little capacity. It’s a promise, he added.

Thank God you are here with some of your formidable team members like Engr. Iyamu whom I want to particularly beg to help me organize a meeting between my humble self and the Edo people in this city. I love to meet with them to exchange ideas affecting the image of our beloved country especially, to discuss a hot subject, human trafficking. We must collaboratively fight to stamp it out. Meeting with Edo community is my top priority, he re-emphasized.

Ehizoya Golden Entertainment e.V, is the organizers of Nollywood film festival Germany – NFFG, a viable platform designed for Nollywood (Nigerian/African) film makers to showcase their movies to Europeans and Nollywood fans in the Diaspora – (a confirmed educational tools of learning African culture by African children in the Diaspora) and Nollywood Europe Golden Awards - NEGA, designed to honour Nollywood stakeholders, stars, comedians, musicians (both in Africa and in the Diaspora) which has also been expanded to recognize the artistic bias of outstanding Diplomatic Corps, politicians and businessmen and women both in Africa and beyond but whose actions in the area of culture and tourism sector, have directly or indirectly impacted upon Africans and other continent outside the scope of Africa countries.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD FIND LASTING SOLUTIONS TO PIRACY- PENICURE.

Top  Fuji artiste , Love Idris Adisa Penicure has added his voice to the call by Nigerian entertainers asking the Federal government to find a way to curb piracy in the country .

 The  fuji star who is an household name urge the government to and other stakeholders in the entertainment  industry to find a lasting solution to the menace called piracy, according to him .piracy is killing creativity in this country and its high time we looked for a lasting solutions. He stated this recently in a chat with Lagoshappens. 

Love Idris discovered his singing talent after watching several musical videos of the late Fuji Maestro  Doctor Sikiru Ayinde Barrister on Television. 

This spurred him into singing and he started in 1980. Adisa penicure as he’s fondly addressed by his fans and admirers has 15 albums to his credit. This included, were Penicure, Fuji Mighty, Solo Mighty, Current, Policy, Plenty Sorry, Master Key, Shawarma, Solution , Advice among others.

His first  album titled Penicure shot him into limelight in the 90’s, taking about his experience with his first label the defunct Ivory Music, in his words “I was on contract with ivory music for many years when suddenly they stopped releasing my album and took on Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s album of blessed memory. I sued ivory music to court for 4years, won them for breach of contract. They were asked to pay me fine and continue with our contract. I eventually left after the contract expired. 

Just returned from  South Africa , Love Idris Adisa shared his South Africa experience. According to him, he said, he was in South Africa to lunch his new album and also celebrated his 50^th birthday with some of  fans.

Recently Love Idris Adisa  hosted  a  South African welcome dance where he was honoured by some of his fans .The show which was well attended was held at  Capital Hotel, Oba Akran, Ikeja, Lagos. Love Idris Adisa is currently being promoting by Solo films & Easycar.

DUKE OF ZION MUSIC, APOSTLE EBIWANNA RETURNS WITH ABANISE .

Promising Gospel singer Apostle Anifowose Omotayo Ebiwanna  otherwise known  as Duke of Zion Music , is currently in the studio putting finishing touches to his new album , in his words , the  new album is almost done , with a working title  “Abanise”  and it has four tracks , he further stated,  that all things been equal the new LP will hit the market before the year runs and it will be marketed by Golden Waves Entertainment

The  Ugbonla-Ilaje born dynamic spiritual singer  has four albums to his credit titled Ipinu Mi, Oloriire, Ona Abayo and Aye Bada Bami Ninu Je is back in the music studio after 17 years of his last album to release a new dynamic and unique album which will take over the gospel music industry worldwide

 Apostle Ebiwanna journey  into gospel music  started when he joined the choir as a teenager in his community church ,  C & S Zion Church, Ugbonla, Ilaje Headquarters in Ondo State.

This banker turned gospel artiste spent all his childhood in the Ugbonla Village at Ilaje, Ondo State where he hails from.  He relocated to Lagos in 1992 after his primary and secondary schools education. His mentors musically are Remilekun Amos, Apostle Megbodofo among others, moreover, he also tapped the singing anointing from his father Prophet Ebiwanna aka Woli Gigun of blessed memory

NIGERIA MEDIA NITE OUT AWARDS 2017 , COMES UP IN SEPTEMBER.

Plans are in advanced stages for the 11th edition of  Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award,
which has been tentatively fixed for Sunday 17th September, 2017 at the prestigious Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to Sola Olugbemiro, the CEO of Solkem Entertainment the organizers of the award  “ We are stepping up our game  this year, and part of what we have done is that. We have move the award night to a classy  venue, Airport Hotel.

He further revealed that  alot of big personalities will grace the award night .
Our award is for people who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields, to get the award ,he continues , you must be a worthy recipient. I can tell you that this year own will raise a bar as far as award event is concern in Nigeria, he concluded.

Going by the information made available to us , a press conference will hold soon where all the names of nominees will be announced , keep a date with this page.

LAGOS DECIDES 2017: NO MOVEMENT BETWEEN 8AM AND 2PM, THIS SATURDAY.

In preparation for the forthcoming council polls slated for Saturday  July 22, 2017, the Lagos State Government has announced restriction of vehicular movement in the State. This is in view of the elections that will hold across the 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across the State.

According to  a press statement released by the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, the restriction of movement across the State will be enforced between 8am and 2pm on Saturday July 22, to allow for a smooth conduct of the polls and unhindered participation.
According to the Commissioner, the State is known for peaceful conduct of elections, and as such, urged residents to be peaceful and orderly on Saturday to cast their votes in their respective wards for Chairmen and councilors who are expected to drive development at the third tier of government.

The Honourable commissioner, explained that this  the election that will bring on board a new set of public officers for the next four years at the local government level, so therefore the restriction will allow the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) and the security agencies to distribute electoral materials in good time and ensure that election is free and fair.

TUJUKA RETURNS..SET FOR NEW ALBUM.

Talented and upcoming gospel singer , Evang. Samson Ayeni otherwise known as Tujuka is back  in the studio after many years of break from the music industry for many years .

In his words " Am currently in the studio working on an album , to give my  fans and admirers an inspirational spirit-filled songs that would inspire and impact their lives,. Tujuka further stated that the  new album, will shake the gospel music industry because the composition is different , the beat is unique and everything about the new album is absolutely unique” he Concluded.

 Evang. Ayeni discovered his passion for music at age eight when he was in the village; he started with Fela’s songs.  He later relocated to Lagos and joined CCC, he joined the choir and was playing drums.  He became the Choirmaster of CCC Iyanu Oluwa Parish, at Ifako, College Road, Ogba, Lagos, when the Choirmaster left in 1992/93.

He started music professionally In 1997. The Gospel artiste who also plays drums, and guitar very well ,revealed he would  like to collabo with Atorise, Mega 99, Esther Igbekele, Tope Alabi and others because their music also inspire him.  Evang. Samson Ayeni studied at  Government Technical College and  Lagos Polytechnic for HND in Estate Management.  Tujuka who says his inspiration is divine charges his fans and admirers to continue praying for him, for a better and successful future in music. On his mentor, he say “Kingsley Ogunde is my greatest mentor. he inspired me I must confess.  

So far , Tujuka has two albums to  his credit titled Oluwasorefunmi and Foromi se miracle produced in 1997 and  2008 respectively.
